Based in Evanston, Illinois, Clybourn Financial Services helps homebuyers negotiate the mountain of paperwork thrust upon them by mortgage lenders. The company is dedicated to making the process of qualifying, applying, and getting approved for a mortgage loan as stress-free as possible.

Computers are an integral part of the company’s day-to-day operation, but the task of maintaining them wasn’t getting the attention it deserved. “We had two individuals in charge of our IT system,” recalls Clybourn Vice President Chris Rocks. “One was part-time, who was taking care of us in addition to a separate full time job, and the other was a guy who worked out of his home. We had issues with both of them relating to uptime and getting problems resolved quickly.”

Seeking a more stable solution, Clybourn Financial Services heard about Alchetec through a referral from the North Shore Board of Realtors. “They told us if we needed reliable and reasonably priced IT guys, this was the place to go,” Rocks said.

They updated Clybourn’s drivers, replaced a faulty server, added a SonicWALL Router, updated existing software and added the remote monitoring capabilities that would allow Alchetec to monitor the company’s systems. “They have been very helpful with everything from evaluating our scanners and copiers to upgrading our phone system,” Rocks said.

Alchetec’s technology allows the IT experts to proactively fix issues before they turn into problems, and immediately attend to problems to prevent disaster. “Since Alchetec has started monitoring our systems, we haven’t had any significant downtime,” Rocks said.
